Pro-Spec(Pre-Order)

After almost a year in the making the Pro-Spec is here!

 

This new chassis is loaded with Prophet-Designs goodness. The Pro-Spec is the ultimate rig with its extended wb and carrier bearing setup, this is the one to take out on some wild lines!

 

Featuring a 177mm wb and a 18 degree angled skid , carrier bearing and extreme weight forward design the Pro-Spec is the ultimate point and shoot chassis kit!

 

What all is Included in this kit ?

 

Kit includes:

 

2 - rails 

 

1- skid 

 

1-Pro Spec Slant boa 

 

1 front brace

 

1- rear alloy brace 

 

1 set of side panels 

 

1- roof 

 

1- Pro-spec carrier  

 

1- set of titanium links and brass pivot balls (drag axle specific)

 

Setup recomdations:

 

Shocks:

 

The pro spec is designed around the proline 50mm big bores in the rear and a set of 34mm big bores on the front. I reccomend those shocks as those are what I designed the geometry around that being said its ultimately up to you to decide what works! 

 

Has been tested with 39mm up front as well can accommodate it but that's probably the longest I'd go in the front. 

 

Esc & Rx :

 

You'll need a small formfactor esc Bktt or similar and a micro rx (gt5,avatar,nb4,radiolink) as the cockpit is limited on space . You may need to shorten wires depending on your setup

 

Motor & Mount:

 

To use the front brace you will need to use a pancake style motor other wise you will encounter clearance issues. Also suggest a low profile motor mount (bktt,akers,Bluehawkrc) this will center the motor and give more space around the trans to tuck electronics.

 

Links:

 

The link set is designed for use with a rampcrab adjustable rear link riser to get the pinion angle desired. This launch edition link set is designed for drag axle setups after these kits have been sold a addon for 4ws will be available (suggested retail of 10.99)

 

Driveshafts and carrier setup :

 

Reccomend a deadbolt front and a gladiator rear chopped down to allow full compression ( rear can be made to work with female rear Deadbolt and male gladiator rear parts ) 

 

The carrier works best with the long side facing the transmission (Can be tiled to fix any binding )

Printed parts are not indestructible so do not put excessive force on small parts during assembly. I hold no liability for Parts broken from brute force or improper assembly.
